What You Should Know about Clothing Store Careers (career search)

By Garrett36 Pierson36

If you are one of those people who have this unexplainable love for clothes and skill for fashion designing, then you are meant to work in the fashion industry. When you were younger, you probably made clothes for your dolls or revamped your old clothes into something new. These are signs that you should be working in a boutique surrounded with clothes, not in a bank or behind computers.

People who work in the fashion industry, like those who pursue clothes store careers, are imaginative and love to express themselves with their clothes. For them, wearing clothes is like creating art. It is an art in itself, just like painting or dancing. This is because you have to plan your outfit well and put the pieces together and make sure that the overall outcome looks great. It is not true that fashion designers are the only creative people in the fashion industry. Even those people who make an effort to dress themselves fashionably are also creative and imaginative.

There are a few things you should know before pursuing one of those clothing store careers. Here are some information and tips that you should knowlearn.

- Clothing store careers have two aspectsthe creative and manufacturing sides. The creative aspect is the whole brainstorming process. This is the process for fashion designers and probably researchers. They think of ideas that they can turn into real clothes. The manufacturing aspect is the process that deals with the mass production of the clothes and textile. This is the job for the textile or apparel manufacturers. Select the side that will work best for you. This, of course, depends on your talent and skills.

- Although careers in the fashion industry are easier and more fun than other careers, there are times when you also have to work hard. For example, fashion designers spend long hours thinking of designs that the public will embrace wholeheartedly. You should know that in this kind of business, it is not purely self-expression. You also have to think of sellable ideas that the consumer will love. Otherwise, your business will go bankrupt.

- For some, it can be a bit hard to get a career in the fashion industry because of the tough competition. There are a lot of people who want to make it in the fashion world but jobs are not as many as in other industries. They only choose those who have an edge or who are really passionate about fashion. Tat is why it is important that you love fashion if you want to have a job in this industry.

- You should also know that you are more likely to get a job in a fashion city capital like New York City. If you live in the mountains of Montana or Wyoming or somewhere rural, there is a smaller chance for you to find a glamorous fashion-related job.

It is important to know learn about the information listed above so that you know what to expect in the fashion industry. It is not purely fun and glamour but also hard work and perseverance.

Which Skills You Need to Develop

By Randy Wheeler

From the very childhood you have been dreaming to become a doctor, but now you understand that your mere desire is not enough? Above all, you should understand that being a doctor differs much from being a manager, a social worker, an interpreter, etc. This is the profession where you need to bear responsibility for human lives. So, do not enter this world if you are not ready for such responsibility.

Skills that a doctor should have

If you are about to enter or have already entered a medical institution, you have a chance to develop the following skills that make a good doctor:

Knowledge. Believe it or not, but a mere desire to help people is not enough to be able to do this. If you made up your mind to become a doctor, be ready to study for the rest of your life because this is a profession where your knowledge is never sufficient.

Philosophy. A philosophic doctor has an open mind. He/she accepts that alternative medicine may be sometimes more helpful than the traditional one. Moreover, philosophy helps diagnose patients properly because it is the philosophic mental set that allows organizing thoughts and ideas and focusing on one among many.

Empathy. A good doctor is not the one who is empathic for you will not stay long in this profession if you will feel sorry for each of your patients. Instead, you need to have high Emotional Intelligence Quotient, which means that you should be able to control your emotions and be sympathetic when needed and be indifferent when your sorrow is unnecessary.

So, if you have at least two of these skills, you have chosen the right profession. But remember, that there are many other skills that you need to become a doctor.
